Since 1983, this flavor has thrived at the heart of Alsancak, evolving into a true family tradition. Today, second-generation Berrin Akar carries that legacy forward, and under her hand, boyoz has become something of a symbol for İzmir itself. Now one of the city's most celebrated gourmet addresses, Alsancak Dostlar Fırını sits at the top of every visitor's list.
DAPS delivered a sign worthy of this landmark's flagship branch: oversized box letters standing 1 meter tall. The letters were shaped by the hands of our expert craftsmen, with precision and experience. Already beloved for its quality, this address became even more visible and eye-catching with our touch. The result is a signature as memorable as the place it marks.

PROJECT
DETAILS
DAPS carries its quality like a signature across every corner of the city and Alsancak Dostlar Fırını was no exception.
Every detail of the project was handled with care: the metal sheet was laser-cut to flawless precision. To withstand İzmir's salty sea breeze for years to come, an electrostatic oven-baked coating was chosen, giving the signage lasting resistance against time and coastal air. The outdoor LEDs, meanwhile, were secured with an IP65 rating, ensuring full protection against dust and moisture. Installation the most critical phase of this large-scale façade project, was completed safely and precisely with crane support.
Across this entire journey, from design to production to installation, DAPS treated every detail with the same care, turning clean craftsmanship from a goal into a principle. The result is work that honors the memory of both Alsancak Dostlar Fırını and İzmir itself a signature that inspires trust and leaves a lasting mark.
